PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU COMMISSIONED 30 HYBRID CNG BUSES IN ABUJA

In the quest to bring relief to the excruciating effects of the removal of oil subsidy to the economy of Nigeria and how it affects the masses, president Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday 12th of August, 2024 commissioned 20 hybrid buses in the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock Abuja. In the tripartite negotiation with labour leaders in the country, it was agreed that the Government will bring in some measures that will mitigate the suffering of workers and the masses in logistics and other services caused by the rising prices in PMS and AGO all part of petroleum refined products commonly consumed in the country. There were another set of ten hybrid buses made available which were Commissioned.

In the quest to bring succour to the rising cost President Tinubu ordered 20 hybrids Compressed natural gas-powered buses locally assembled by Innoson motors Nnewi Nigeria. Presidential Spokesman Bayo Onanuga in his social handle wrote “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Monday 12th August, 2024 at presidential Villa, State House Abuja Commissioned 20 Hybrid buses. Donated by Depots and Petroleum Products Marketers association of Nigeria-DAPPMAN. Innoson Motors assembled the buses locally.”
