QUEEN NKEIRUKA OZURUMBA EMERGES CROWNED QUEEN OF AMURIE OMANZA WOMEN AUGUST MEETING 2026

Mrs. Queen Nkeiruka Ozurumba, representing the Lagos Branch, has emerged the overall winner and crowned Queen of the Amurie Omanza Autonomous Community Women August Meeting 2026 Beauty Pageant, following a keenly contested competition among representatives of women groups from various branches across Nigeria.

The colourful beauty pageant attracted contestants representing the Owerri, Orlu, Lagos, Onitsha, Warri, Benin and Port Harcourt branches of the Amurie Omanza Women August Meeting. The contestants distinguished themselves through their elegance, poise, cultural presentation and impressive stage performances, making the competition both exciting and highly competitive.

However, it was Queen Nkeiruka Ozurumba of the Lagos Branch who ultimately captured the admiration of the judges and audience with her outstanding performance. Elegantly dressed in a beautifully designed and exquisitely tailored outfit, she displayed a remarkable combination of grace, confidence and cultural sophistication that set her apart from the other contestants.

Her ability to maintain a graceful gait, commanding stage presence and regal charisma, accentuated by her natural beauty and composure, earned her the admiration of the audience and the judges. Her performance ultimately secured her victory as the 2026 Beauty Pageant Queen of the Amurie Omanza Autonomous Community Women August Meeting.

Speaking on her achievement, Queen Nkeiruka Ozurumba expressed appreciation for the opportunity to represent the Lagos Branch and described her victory as a memorable moment in her life and a source of pride for the women of Amurie Omanza.

The beauty pageant formed part of the activities celebrating the 2026 August Meeting of the Amurie Omanza women, bringing together women of the community from different branches and locations in an atmosphere of unity, cultural pride, friendship and conviviality.

The event also reflected the enduring leadership and traditional heritage of Amurie Omanza Autonomous Community in Isu Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria, under the traditional leadership of His Royal Highness, Eze Charles Nnajiemere, Ezeudo II.

Eze Charles Nnajiemere, Ezeudo II, has occupied the traditional throne of Amurie Omanza for 36 years, making him one of the longest-serving traditional rulers in Imo State. His long reign has been associated with efforts toward peace, security, unity and conviviality within the community.

The successful organisation of the 2026 women’s August Meeting and the colourful beauty pageant further underscored the spirit of togetherness and cultural pride that continues to characterize the Amurie Omanza community.

With Queen Nkeiruka Ozurumba emerging as the 2026 crowned Queen, the Amurie Omanza Women August Meeting Beauty Pageant has once again provided a platform for celebrating the beauty, dignity, confidence, intelligence and cultural identity of the women of Amurie Omanza, both at home and in the diaspora.
