NAVY COMMODORE SULEIMAN IBRAHAM BOWS OUT FROM NNS PATHFINDER, IMPOUNDS OVER 100 CRUDE OIL WOODEN BOATS IN RIVERS STATE

The Commander of NNS Pathfinder Rumuolumini Port Harcourt Rivers state Navy Commodore Suleiman Ibrahim during an interactive session with journalists in Send-Forth ceremony in his honour said that his command impounded over 100 illegal crude oil wooden boats within a period of sixteen Months in Rivers state in Niger delta region of Nigeria. He admitted that the over 150-suspects in connection with the illegal crude oil theft and bunkering were arrested within the period under review.

The outgoing Commander said “We arrested hundreds of large wooden boats. We also arrested over 150 persons for illegal Oil bunkering. The arrest we made is quite huge and the arrested suspects were handed over to the relevant agencies for prosecutions. We have taken some arrested suspects to the Economic and Financial crime Commission-EFCC and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps “

He thanked the Commanders and Heads of other sister security agencies for their cooperation and synergy which NNS Pathfinder enjoyed during his stay in office which he attributed contributed immensely to the peace Rivers state had so far.
