KING CHARLES III PROCLAIMATION: BECOMES MONARCH OF THE KINGDOM, MOURNS HIS LATE MOTHER QUEEN ELIZABETH II

The Ceremony proclaiming King Charles III formerly Prince Charles Arthur George as Monarch of the United Kingdom took place on Saturday, 10th of September, 2022after the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth II, who died at Balmoral Scotland on Thursday 8th of September, 2022. In a moving speech on Friday, 9th of September announcing the death of his mother King Charles III, said glorious things about his late mother “I know how deeply you and the entire nation and I think I may say the whole world sympathizes with me in the irreparable loss we have all suffered, it is the greatest consolation to me to know of the sympathy expressed by so many to my sister and my brothers and that such overwhelming affection and support should be extended to our whole family in our loss. To all of us as a family,” King Charles II said.

Queen Elizabeth II, died at the age of 96 and the whole world have been paying glorious tribute to the Queen who meant many things to many people with her political influence in more than 14-Commonwealth nations across the Oceans. The ceremonies leading to the final burial of Queen Elizabeth II, has begun with the declaration of Bank Holiday and other titles pronouncement by King Charles III has been made.

“As to this kingdom and to the wider family of nations of which it is a part, my mother gave an example of lifelong love and of selfless service, in taking up these responsibilities I shall strive to follow the inspiring example I have been set in upholding constitutional government and to seek the peace, harmony and prosperity of the peoples of these islands, and of the Commonwealth realms and territories across the world.

“In this purpose I know that I shall be upheld by the affection and loyalty of the peoples whose sovereign I have been called upon to be, and in the discharge of these duties, I will be guided by the council of their elected parliaments,” Charles said.

The mammoth crowd that has trooped out to honour the proclamation of King Charles III at saint James and the traditional shooting of guns as approved by King Charles took place seamlessly in London.

It is on record that the moment Queen Elizabeth died the message was sent out in codes such as “ London Bridge is Down”.
