ROTARIAN TREASURE TIMI DARE TO BE INSTALLED AS 15TH PRESIDENT OF ROTARY CLUB OF PORT HARCOURT.
Rotarian Treasure Timi Dare, popularly known as “Double T,” is set to be installed as the 15th President of the Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Express, Rotary International District 9141, for the 2026/2027 Rotary Year.
According to a statement issued by the Club’s Installation Planning Committee, the colourful ceremony will also feature the inauguration of the Club’s Board of Directors and the unveiling of its 2026/2027 Community Service Projects.
The installation ceremony is scheduled to hold on Sunday, 2nd August 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Vineyard Plaza, 88 Woji Road, GRA Phase 2, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The event is expected to attract an impressive gathering of distinguished Rotarians, captains of industry, government officials, traditional rulers, members of the diplomatic community, corporate organisations, business leaders, friends of Rotary, and members of the public.
As part of the celebration, an Installation Brochure will be published, providing opportunities for corporate organisations, businesses, and goodwill partners to advertise their brands and felicitate with the incoming President. Goodwill messages from Rotary Clubs and individual Rotarians are also invited.
Rotarian Treasure Timi Dare is a highly respected media professional, broadcaster, marketing strategist, public relations expert, event host, and community development advocate with more than two decades of professional experience.
He currently serves as the Head of Marketing, Sales and Business Development at Super 93.3FM Port Harcourt, where he has built an outstanding reputation in strategic marketing, client relationship management, business development, and revenue generation. He is also the producer and host of The Real Estate Show, a weekly radio programme dedicated to promoting real estate investment opportunities and housing awareness across Nigeria.
His broadcasting career began after receiving professional training at the Alpha Institute of Broadcasting and Communications, Port Harcourt. Over the years, he has further enhanced his expertise through several international media development programmes, including specialised training facilitated by the BBC in Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa.
Beyond broadcasting, Double T has become one of Nigeria’s leading Masters of Ceremonies, media consultants, event promoters, and producers. Through Double T Media Production, he has successfully organised and promoted numerous corporate, entertainment, and social events while mentoring young professionals pursuing careers in media and communication.
Academically, he holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing from the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Entrepreneurial Studies from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
A committed humanitarian, Rotarian Treasure Timi Dare has continued to demonstrate unwavering dedication to community service through Rotary International and several other social initiatives. His remarkable contributions to the media industry and humanitarian service have earned him notable recognitions, including the Best Media Marketer in Rivers State Award at the 2024 Port Harcourt Magazine Awards and the Rotary Social Media Star Award for his outstanding role in promoting Rotary’s ideals and community impact.
