Engineer Benjamin Chizoba Unachukwu has been formally coronated and admitted into the revered council of traditional title holders of the Iho Dimeze Ancient Kingdom following a colourful and culturally rich ceremony held on December 27, 2025.
The historic ceremony was conducted under the royal authority of His Royal Majesty, Eze (Dr.) Martin Chieze Amaku (Dimeze II), the traditional ruler of the Iho Dimeze Ancient Kingdom, who conferred on him the prestigious chieftaincy title of High Chief Nwatayanachiyadinamma I. His wife was also honoured and formally presented as Lolo Udochinyerem of Iho Dimeze Ancient Kingdom.


The conferment attracted an impressive gathering of traditional rulers, titled chiefs, community leaders, youth groups and well-wishers from within and outside the kingdom, including the serving Senator representing Owerri West Senatorial District, Senator Ezenwa Francis Onyewuchi. The honour was bestowed in recognition of Engineer Unachukwu’s outstanding professional accomplishments, steadfast commitment to community development and consistent contributions to youth empowerment.
Deeply rooted in the customs and values of the Iho Dimeze people, the chieftaincy title symbolizes trust, leadership, service and a call to higher responsibility in the affairs and development of the ancient kingdom.
Engineer Unachukwu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information and communication technology, engineering services and entrepreneurship development. He is the Director and Chief Executive Officer of B&J Medical Diagnosis Limited, B&J Engineering Services Solutions Limited, and B&J Bush Farms, organizations that have continued to make notable impacts in healthcare support services, engineering solutions and agribusiness development.


Beyond his corporate engagements, the newly installed High Chief is a passionate advocate of youth empowerment. He is the pioneer of the “One Youth, One Skill” initiative, a youth empowerment programme designed to equip young people with practical skills for self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods. The initiative is driven through his NGO, CEO Entrepreneurship Club, and operates under the leadership of the Youth President, Chibueze Okoro, reflecting his long-standing commitment to human capacity development and grassroots empowerment.
Born on December 12, 1976, Engineer Benjamin Unachukwu hails from Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State.

He is married to Adaeze Janejuliet (née Obodoeze) Unachukwu and is widely regarded as disciplined, self-motivated and deeply committed to excellence. Known for his strong interpersonal, analytical and leadership skills, he effectively blends technical expertise with community-focused leadership.
Professionally, he has built an impressive career spanning network administration, systems engineering, information security, airport technology systems, critical infrastructure support and full-stack software engineering. His technical competencies include Windows Server administration, Active Directory deployment, network infrastructure planning, cybersecurity implementation, firewall management, VLAN configuration, fibre networking, hardware maintenance and advanced systems support.
He has also handled specialized systems such as X-ray baggage screening machines, fire detection and FM 200 fire suppression systems, access control systems, flight information display systems, self-check-in kiosks, CUPPS platforms and high-capacity uninterruptible power supply systems.


Engineer Unachukwu previously served as Network Administrator and Hardware Support Engineer at Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited, operators of the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two (MMA2), where he played key roles in LAN administration, installation and maintenance of airport operational systems, supervision of IT-related projects and support for safety-critical infrastructure. His professional journey also includes engagements with Feyita Nigeria Limited, a contractor to Nigeria Agip Oil Company (NAOC), Henol Associates and Coscharis Motors Limited, giving him broad exposure across the aviation, oil and gas, automobile and IT consultancy sectors.
Among his notable achievements are the design and implementation of network systems at MMA2, installation of fibre switches and VLAN configurations across control and transmission rooms, management of X-ray screening systems, deployment of CUPPS and self-check-in kiosks, supervision of fire detection systems, development of a livestock management application for farmers, and the training and installation of renewable energy (solar) systems.
Speaking shortly after his coronation, Engineer Benjamin Unachukwu expressed profound gratitude to His Royal Majesty and the entire Iho Dimeze Kingdom for the rare honour, describing the title as a call to deeper service, integrity and dedication to community progress. He pledged to uphold the values and traditions of the kingdom while intensifying his support for youth development, peace, unity and sustainable development.


The installation of High Chief Nwatayanachiyadinamma I marks another significant chapter in the rich cultural heritage of the Iho Dimeze Ancient Kingdom and reaffirms the enduring tradition of honouring excellence, service and visionary leadership in contemporary society.
