A ROYAL BIRTHDAY OF HONOUR AND GRATITUDE IN IHO DIMEZE KINGDOM

27th November 2025 — The Celebration of the Birthday of HRM Eze (Dr.) Martin Chieze Amaku, Dimeze II of Iho Dimeze Ancient Kingdom is in the horizon.

The 27th of November 2025 is no ordinary date in the cultural calendar of the Iho Dimeze Ancient Kingdom in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State. It marks the official birthday of His Royal Majesty, Eze (Dr.) Martin Chieze Amaku, Dimeze II, a revered monarch whose reign has become a symbol of peace, security, unity, and cultural renaissance.

Across the length and breadth of the Iho Dimeze Autonomous Community—at home, in the diaspora, and among friends of the kingdom—there is a rising wave of joy, gratitude, and profound admiration for the King who has consistently placed the wellbeing of his people at the centre of his throne.

A REIGN DEFINED BY PEACE, PROGRESS AND PEOPLE-CENTRED LEADERSHIP

Since ascending the ancient throne of his forefathers, Eze (Dr.) Martin Chieze Amaku has embodied the virtues of a true traditional ruler—wisdom, compassion, firmness, and a deep understanding of the needs of his people. Under his watch, the Iho Dimeze Kingdom has witnessed:

Enhanced security and community vigilance, ensuring that the kingdom remains a safe haven for its inhabitants.

Peaceful coexistence among families, villages, and age grades, with his leadership fostering dialogue and harmony.

A renewed spirit of communal happiness and cultural pride, as festivals, customs, and heritage have received vibrant support.

For these reasons and more, the people believe that celebrating their king is not just ceremonial—it is a duty of gratitude.

A CALL FOR COMMUNITY SOLIDARITY: GIFTS AS SYMBOLS OF HONOUR

Ahead of the royal birthday celebration, sons and daughters of Iho Dimeze Autonomous Community have been encouraged to show appreciation through thoughtful gifts, as is customary in many respected kingdoms. From symbolic presents to grand gestures, the people are preparing to honour their monarch in ways befitting his impact.

Communal discussions have also highlighted a remarkable collective idea: the presentation of a Car Gift and the Announcement of Plans to Build a Befitting Royal Palace.

This palace, proposed by community stakeholders, would serve as:The official seat of the Eze-In-Council, a dignified centre for traditional decision-making and conflict resolution, a symbol of heritage where visitors and dignitaries can experience the prestige of Iho Dimeze, a home of cultural authority reflecting the dignity of the Dimeze II and the people he leads.

Such a gesture, if realized, will not only honour the King but also stand as a legacy of unity among the citizens.

A DAY OF CELEBRATION AND BLESSINGS

On this special 27th day of November, the palace grounds are expected to beam with colour, music, cultural displays, prayers, and heartfelt tributes. Friends of the kingdom, neighbouring communities, traditional institutions, and well-wishers far and near are anticipated to join in paying homage to a monarch whose noble leadership continues to uplift his people.

For Iho Dimeze, Dimeze II is more than a traditional ruler.
He is a father, a guardian of heritage, a symbol of stability, and a custodian of the values that define the kingdom.

And so, as the drums resonate and the people gather, one message will echo through the ancient land: “Long Live His Royal Majesty, Eze (Dr.) Martin Chieze Amaku, Dimeze II of Iho Dimeze Ancient Kingdom!”

May your reign continue to bring peace, prosperity and progress.
