How do you feel today as you execute this programme?
We pray for life and for more collaborations…I want to see our children digitized. We want to see them gain
global accolades, we want to see them move from one stage of life to another educationally. Academically, I want to see them win trophies in educational awards just as it is in other climes.
One of your collaborating partners is Leadway Assurance Plc, what are their roles in your NGO?
Leadway Assurance, have given us the platform whether i am there or not the insurance policy covers the
children. Leadway Assurance also supported us in the area of Loans, for us to be able to carry out this event.
We are eligible to obtain loans.
In your opening address you highlighted N500m, is it for what?
It is N500m grants for school fees per session for the students in our enrollment. Per child it is N500,000.00
A session in the academic calendar is about 9-months which is about a year. so, N500,000.00 per session for a
child for one thousand making it N500,000.00 multiplied for 6 years per child which is N3m. That is the mark.
So, per child is N3m for six years. So, N3m multiplied for six years and multiplied for six years by one thousand.
How will your foundation raise this fund?
It’s going to come from Charitable individuals like you, governments, business men and women. People that are led should keep supporting us including international support like foreign grants et al.
Why starting from Amassoma, in Southern Ijaw Bayelsa state?
For me charity begins at home. This is my home. If everyone goes back to their various homes the world will be
a better place. Amassoma is home for me. Interestingly, we are starting off from here.
From Amassoma to where next?
We have 36 states in Nigeria, Rivers state, Edo state, Akwa Ibom state, and Cross River state, we want to
see how we can make our presence felt over there in those states.
Apart from NGOs, are you interested in politics?
No. I am just spreading Love.
