DR. LOVE ALOZIE BURIES LATE MOTHER UGOEZE CECILLIA IHEWULEZI IN LAGWA-OKWUATO ABOH MBAISE, IMO STATE

The burial of Her Royal Highness Ezinne Ugoeze Cecilia Ihewulezi nee Ada Ugo Anyanwu took place on Saturday 5th of June, 2021 at her official residence Palace of Ekwueme III at Okwuato ancient kingdom in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo state. Her daughter Princess (Mrs.) Love Alozie Ph.D. and her siblings, family members and friends and associates from various destinations all showed up in giving their beloved late mother final befitting burial rites according to the Catholic doctrine.

The events leading to the burial proper commenced on Friday 4th of June, 2021 with the remains of the deceased removed from Holy Rosary mortuary with stopover to the three communities of Okwuato ancient kingdom first at her father’s compound at Amaukwu UmueIem Enyiogugu after which the three towns followed in tandem.

Given her position as a renowned teacher at St. Michael’s Catholic Parish Church, Lagwa Okwuato where requiem mass was conducted in her honour her good virtues were eulogized by all and sundry. Present at the commendation service was South East Provencal Superior clergy. The son of the deceased Catholic Priest Fr. Cajetan Ihewulezi CSSp who spoke on behalf of the family at the commendation service expressed gladness with the turn-out of people who came to register their presence with the loss of their beloved mother Ezinne Cecilia. While in his sermon Fr. Peter Chidi Osuagwu described the late Ugoeze as “a teacher with equanimity in her heart such that she never discriminated among her students, teaching with so much zeal.”

The clergy further stated that “When we die; it is only by our moral and virtuous conduct shall we be remembered”.

Immediately the interment was concluded at the Ekwueme III Palace various high-profile dignitaries were given robust entertainment as dance groups and Catholic Women Organization CWO, both of St. Michael’s Catholic Church Lagwa-Okwuato and those from Port Harcourt where Dr. (Mrs.) Love Alozie nee IHEWULEZI worshippers were there to support and show solidarity with their own. For Right. Rev. Fr. Dr. Prince Cajetan Ihewulezi who is the Rector of Spiritan School of Philosophy Isienu Nsukka in Enugu state.

The current regent of the Okwuato Ancient kingdom traditional stool Prince Engr. Matthew Akuwudike Ihewulezi ATO 1 Okwuato Ancient Kingdom played his roles diligently as all guests were adequately taken care of with the Church outing Service took place on Sunday, 6th of June, 2021 at St. Michael’s catholic church Lagwa Okwuato Aboh Mbaise LGA in Imo state.

The deceased left the following successful children Princess (Mrs.) Francisca Ugoh, Prince Engr. Matthew Akuwudike Ihewulezi Regent Okwuato ancient Kingdom, Princess Dr. (Mrs) Love Alozie, Right Rev. Fr. Dr. Prince Cajetan Ihewulezi, Mrs. Adline Ejike, Princess (Mrs.) Kate Ojimadu, Prince Mark Ihewulezi, Late Prince John Ihewulezi, Sons In law; Prince Dr. Collins Alozie, Prince Chijindu Ojimadu.

Many Traditional rulers and their Ugoezes, Chiefs, Lolos, and Ndi Nzes. Seminarians and Students of University of Nigeria, Staff of Dancilia Model School Port Harcourt, Members of KAPPA DELTA PI, NAEP, NCEA, some staff and students of Abia State University, Uturu and members of Ibeku Women Organization that has Dr. (Mrs.) Love Alozie as its Chairperson for many years for the Port Harcourt branch.
