INTERNAL WRANGLING FORCED APC NATIONAL CHAIRMAN SENATOR ABDULLAHI ADAMU’S SUDDEN RESIGNATION

All Progressives Congress APC National Chairman His Excellency Senator Abdullahi Adamu on Sunday 16th of July 2023 was forced to resign from office on the Order from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the scheduled National Working Committee NWC and National Executive Committee NEC of the party billed to take place on Monday 17th to Wednesday 19th of July, 2023 at Abuja.  It was gathered that the sudden resignation of the National Chairman of APC may not be unconnected with internal wrangling among the leadership of the party as the National chairman and his National secretary Iyiola Omisore were accused of surreptitiously smuggling in the 2022 Audit Report behind the scene without making it available for the perusal of other members of the National Working Committee, NWC and National Executive Committee of the party.

From all indications Senator Abdullahi Adamu was already in the know about an impending Vote of No Confidence awaiting him and his cabinet, hence his early resignation ahead of the scheduled Meetings which is now under scrutiny whether it will hold as planned. Again, the nomination of Principal officers of the national Assembly especially that of the Senate jolted the embattled national Chairman leading to exit from office on Sunday 16th of July, 2023.
