IMO STATE LABOUR PARTY OUT WITH GUBERNATORIAL ASPIRANTS LIST
Come 15th of April, 2023 the Imo state chapter of Labour Party LP will be faced with the conduct of Governorship primary election which will allow delegates to choose a candidate for the November 2023 Governorship election in Imo state. Currently there are 15 aspirants jostling to win the coveted gubernatorial candidate position. Among that list include Chief Martins Agbaso, Senator Athan Achonu; Major General Lincoln Jack retd; Rt. Hon. Ike C. Ibe; AIG Charles Agomuo retd; Chief Joseph Ukaegbu; Rt. Hon. Kelechi Nwagwu; Engr. Chinedu Amadi; Barr. Humphrey Anumudu now late; Dr. Tochi J. Ehirim; Dr. Sam Amadi; Dr. Basil Maduka; Capt. David Mbamara; Dr. Charles Onyirimba; Chief Joseph Ukaegbu and Chief C. Isiguzo.
The former Governor of Imo state Rt. Honourable Emeka Ihedioha being one of the most speculated aspirants whose name is missing in the list, it was gathered is still consulting having resigned from Contesting the Peoples Democratic Party’s Gubernatorial Primary election.
