” I assure you by the special grace of God that we will come back to our offices not just the Executive arm, but also the legislative arm.
Relationships we had then where we all worked, campaigned and ate together will still be restored. There is no problem that is not solvable, what is important is your ability to have a forgiving spirit.

The court has ruled and we just have one way forward. Our options are nothing else but peace because it is the ultimate way to go.

We are already in the peace process. We thank the President for the process. Mr President is the one who saved the situation.

“After the intervention there were a few persons who felt that there should be more interventions so that the issues will be completely resolved. A good number of personalities in this country have always spoken for us and intervened.

“There is every need for us to come down from our high horses and subject ourselves to the peace process. At the end of the day, what is important is the State moving forward
“Our journey though very turbulent, We have utilized the opportunity Rivers people gave to us to place Rivers State at the forefront in Nigeria, because we felt that the interest of Rivers State is above our personal interest

“We got into the stormy water we navigated to where we could and I can easily say that we did well.
This second year anniversary, if not for the crisis we would have had a lot of other programmes and things we worked on to showcase, but it pleases the God Almighty that the situation is what it is.
“I on behalf of my family thank everyone and say honestly, you have been wonderful with your support. This support is one I never solicited either through letter or text messages.”
