The stage is set for the celebration of the 50th birthday of Rivers state Governor Siminalayi Fubara come Tuesday 28th of January, 2025 as Desgol Entertainment Worldwide, the organizers of Rivers Film Festival have set aside a two Million man match around Port Harcourt city on 28th of January 2025 to celebrate the 50th birthday of the Rivers state Governor His Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara. The founder of Rivers Film Festival Ms. Kate Ezegbo in a Press statement said that her organization will embark on operation FEED THE STREET CONCERT as part of the celebration of the 50th Birthday of Rivers state Governor. “as the organizers of historic event we want to celebrate a peaceful leader who puts Rivers people first in all his dealings and supports the entertainment industry in the state. When a leader performs well, he deserves to be celebrated. Our Governor has performed extremely well and we are proud to identify with him as Rivers people and members of the entertainment industry in the state”, she stated.
Continuing Kate Ezeigbo asserted that “We have decided to celebrate our working Governor H.E Sir, Siminalayi Fubara GSSRS and pray that this new chapter of his life bring him unending blessings.”
Over two million Nigerians from all walks of life according to the organizers will storm the street of Port Harcourt in a star-studded street concert that will bring much joy and happiness to the city dwellers as they celebrate the 50th birthday of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Rivers Film Festival in 2024 organized an International Film Festival that witnessed the presence of who is who in Global film business with the inclusion of local content of artists and its trickle effects of improving the economy of Rivers state within the period the Rivers International Film Festival lasted.
