NIGER DELTA LEADERS ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL LAUDS BUHARI OVER PERFORMANCE OF NDDC ACTING MD

The Niger Delta Leaders Administrative Council having held its 101 National Executive Council Meeting in conjunction with Niger Delta Youth Leaders Administrative Council at Port Harcourt passed vote of confidence on the new leadership in the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC with Engineer Emmanuel Audu Ohwavborua as the Acting Managing Director and on all Muhammadu Buhari’s Niger Delta policies and development. The group in a Press statement issued by National President Ambassador Marvin Yobana and signed by National Secretary Hon. Prince Uzoka Chukwuemeka conveyed sympathy to the victims of the natural flood as they “appreciate the quick intervention of the Federal Government through actions of national Emergency Management Agency and that NDDC under Acting MD Engr. Emmanuel Audu Ohwavborua who has united lots of Niger Delta Leaders and stakeholders to the original Master plan development framework of President Mohammadu Buhari’s policy of a greater Niger Delta. We hereby pray for the president through supervising Minister of Niger Delta Affairs Chief Umana Okon Umana to give him more time to consolidate on this gain for the benefit of our people.  Niger Delta is truly experiencing a new touch through the new leadership in NDDC and we all are saying thank you Lord for Engr. Audu and Chief Umana Umana.”

The group praised President Muhammadu Buhari for the clamp down on illegal oil bunkering, pipeline vandalism and Oil theft which they admitted has improve the increased revenue of the country. They hail Mr. President on the Pipeline Surveillance Contract awarded to High chief Government Ekpomopolo as they state that “We are initiating ‘No more illegal oil Bunkering pipeline vandalization campaign with the new NDDC under Engr. Emmanuel Audi and Supervising Minister of Niger Delta Affairs.’

In one of the resolutions at the end of the 101 National executive Council Meeting they applauded the new Acting Managing Director in restoration and removal of administrative bottlenecks which had brought real development especially” allowing genuine contractors to receive payments as at when due. All these are attributed to Mr. President’s zero tolerance to corruption which the new Niger Delta Ministry and NDDC stand for.”
