HOW BUHARI NEVER FULFILLED LATE 1ST REPUBLIC MINISTER OF AVIATION-MBAZULIKE AMECHI’S LAST WISH

The family of First Republic Minister of Aviation chief Mbazulike Amechi on Tuesday 1st of November, 2022 announced the death of their patriarch who died in the early hours of November 1st. According to Ezeana Tagbo Amechi who signed his obituary on behalf of the family wrote “With total deference to the will of Almighty God, the Ume Amechi, Ezeana Ihinede families and the Umu Mmara kindred of Amihe Ukpo in Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra state announce the peaceful transition of our illustrious son, father and grand father Chief Mbazulike Amechi (Dara Akunwafor).”

The 93 years old social activist in his life time was outspoken on key issues affecting the wellbeing of Nigerians. Early this year he visited President Muhammadu Buhari at Aso rock villa where among other demands he presented requested for the state pardon and early release from Prison of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu which he said should be seen as a Birthday gift. But Mr. president complied with this request before he finally died.
