NIGERIAN COURT CONVICTS TWO DRUG DEALERS LINKED TO SUSPENDED POLICE OFFICER-ABBA KYARI

Two drug dealers who are linked to suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police Abba Kyari have been convicted and sentenced to two years imprisonment by a Federal Capital Territory, Abuja High Court.

The convicts Chibunna Umeibe and Emeka Ezenwanne were on Tuesday 14th of June, 2022 convicted based on a National Drug Law Enforcement Agency law suit brought before Justice Emeka Nwite who said that the accused persons having admitted to have committed the crime as read before them in Count charges 5,6 and 7 brought by NDLEA, Chibunna Umeibe and Emeka Ezenwanne, who are 6th and 7th defendants “are hereby convicted accordingly.” The Presiding Justice Nwite did mention that the two years imprisonment terms shall run concurrently in each of the Count charges 0f 5,6 and 7 and this would start to count from the day they were arrested.

It could be recalled that the two drug traffickers were linked to suspended DCP Abba Kyari as they were arrested at Akanu Ibiam international Airport Enugu.
