 ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS APC ZONES NATIONAL POSITIONS AHEAD OF 2023 GENERAL ELECTIONS

 The ruling National party All Progressives Congress APC ahead of its National Convention slated to hold on 26th of February, 2022 has announced the zoning of the party’s allotted positions. The Chairman All Progressives Congress Caretaker /Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee and sitting Governor of Yobe State His Excellency Mai Mala Buni who chaired the National Working Committee NWC, presented the much awaited zoning of the 2023 Presidential ticket and other crucial positions of National importance including, Senate, Federal House of Representatives,  and leadership positions of the party across geo-political zones of the country as follows:

President——————South

Vice President—————–North

Senate President————–South

Deputy Senate President————-North

House of Representatives Speaker——-North

House of Representatives Deputy Speaker—South

While the National Working Committee of All Progressives Congress—APC positions have been zoned thus, National Chairman is zoned to North, National Secretary is zoned to South as National Treasurer has been zoned to South, Financial Secretary has been zoned to North as Legal Officer is zoned to North. Other NWC APC positions of Welfare Officer is zoned to South, National Auditor of the Party has been zoned to North, National Youth Leader has been zoned to South while National Woman Leader is zoned South. Publicity Secretary is zoned to the South as Persons with Disability PWD Leader is zoned to the South.

With release of the zoning structure of All Progressives Congress-APC and the coming National Convention of the arty being expected to take place on the 6th of February, 2022 there is disquiet among party members especially those jostling to contest for office in the 2023 General elections as they have more time to increase their consultations and building trust and extending hands of followership in the 774 Local Government Areas and 36 state plus Federal Capital Territory Abuja.
